AMAZING HAND-CRAFTED ARGENTINE CARBON STEEL, ASADO, BBQ KNIFE – BONE, PATAGONIA ROSEWOOD, LIGNUM VITAS WOOD HANDLE

This is an amazingly hand-crafted Asado BBQ knife that will have all your buddies wondering how you got something so awesome! 20cm Carbon steel knife blade (equitant to slightly longer than 7.8”), having an extra thick spine measuring 5mm, with “jimping” on its spine with a total length of 33 cm or 12.9” (Jimping definition: A series of notches down the spine of a knife blade created to provide grip on a knife beyond the bolster). The blade is crafted with perfect balance; therefore, it can be used by either a right- or left-handed person.

Looking beyond its very special blade, its handle is equally as nice! A combination of three specialty Argentine hardwoods have been used, which are Patagonia Rosewood, Argentine Lignum Vitas & Walnut. These woods have been selected not just for their beautiful appearance, but additionally because they all have moisture barrier priorities and are very dense and durable woods. All being considered exotic hardwoods and all indigenous to Argentina. Each portion of the handle is separated with brass spacers. as well as the butt end of the knife. Natural, polished animal bone is used along with these handsome woods, adding a soft, shimmery look. The entire length of this unique piece is slightly over 13”. With our hand cut cowhide leather scarab, it allows for carrying in a belt, boot or bag, giving all the blade protection needed for this size knife. Each knife, from blade to butt end, are hand crafted which gives each piece unique variations. A second offering for this model knife is a bone & rosewood handle, equally as handsome!
