Description
There’s complexity in this piece—but it’s not noise. It’s detail, layered with intention. Handcrafted in Argentina using traditional techniques passed through generations, this gaucho knife combines natural bone, Argentine hardwood, and marbled colored bone in a two-tone composition that makes each handle visually unique. No two sides are exactly alike—the grain, tone, and contrast shift slightly, giving each piece its own identity. Brass spacers at the bolster, center, and butt end of the handle add structure and refinement, framing the materials without overwhelming them. The result is a balanced composition of texture, warmth, and precision. The 12 cm Schmieden blade is forged from 440 stainless steel, with a convex cutting edge, wide spine, and swage tip. It delivers controlled performance with a solid, reliable feel in hand. At approximately 24 cm overall length, the knife is compact, well-balanced, and designed for real use—not static display.
It comes with a handcrafted leather sheath featuring a pocket tab, allowing it to be carried easily in pocket, boot, or belt—following the traditional gaucho way.
