Description
The natural bone handle gives this gaucho knife its character. Its subtle texture and individual markings are left visible, framed by substantial alpaca silver fittings that give the piece a distinctly Argentine finish. No two handles will look exactly alike.
The 14 cm Schmieden blade is made from 420 stainless steel and runs full tang through the handle, creating a solid, well-balanced knife suited to the table, the asado and everyday use. The handle broadens gently toward the butt and measures approximately 3 inches around at its widest point, giving it a comfortable, substantial feel without making the knife oversized.
At just over 10 inches overall, it has the proportions of a traditional working gaucho knife in a compact format. A fitted leather sheath protects the blade and allows the knife to be carried or stored securely.
Natural bone varies in tone, grain and surface markings. Those differences are part of the material rather than imperfections, making each knife subtly individual.
