420 stainless steel
14cm – 5.5” Schmieden blade
Natural horn & alpaca handle
26cm – 10.2” total knife length
Note: Bone used for knife handles is taken from naturally deceased animals. Bone handles are usually given a surface texture for better grip and added beauty
Each bone handle has its own pattern and distinguished look. Some bone is dyed in a variety of colors or they may be left in their natural state as in this piece. Bone is an excellent material for knife handles, it is durable with its rugged and attractive uniqueness. The majority of bone used for knife making in Argentina is typically from the Southern mountainous region, an example would be an antlered reindeer.
