Almost impossible to find, Rhea toe handled Gaucho Knife is equipped with a 100% authentic, full tang stainless steel Dagger blade with convex cutting edge and spire tipped point. The toe and toenail are in pristine condition without flaws, chips, cracks or broken pieces. Each piece is made by the skilled hands of Argentinian artist with techniques which have been passed down through the generations, creating the best fixed blade knives in today’s marketplace. Made with a 14cm blade, which measures 5.5” (14cm) and a total knife length of 10.2” (26cm). A ‘Nandu’ as called in Spanish or Rhea as it is referred to in English is a large flightless bird who are found throughout South America. They are similar to the ostriches however the rhea only has three large toes. This Gaucho styled knife has been made with the rhea toe as its handle and a full tang, stainless steel blade, beautifully finished in an etched pattern. Stunning! Beautifully finished with an Argentinian cowhide leather scarab with belt tab for carrying in boot, pocket or pocket.
